In Case You Missed It
A couple of weeks ago we posted about Rhys Millen’s planned attempt to backflip a truck on New Year’s Even in Las Vegas. In case you actually have a life and weren’t watching ESPN at the start of 2009, we found the You Tube video of the trick. The “truck” is actually little more than a big go-kart with a fiberglass body, but we’ll let that slide because the flip is pretty impressive. It’s just too bad he didn’t stick the landing.
You can watch the action here. And we’ve also posted the video of Robbie Maddison jumping his motorcycle one-hundred-something feet straight up to land on a fake Arc deTriomph at the Paris Casino. It’s here and may actually be the more impressive stunt.
Finally, sorry but the photo posted here is from a failed attempt from last year. The website is acting wonky this morning and won’t allow me to post new files. So we’re going green and recycling that photo from the previous post.
