Performance Designs says the intake is still in the development process, and we can’t wait to see the finished results. The cross-ram style dual plenum design is constructed from carbon fiber and billet aluminum and is designed to work with two ’99-04 Mustang throttle bodies but by using adaptors you can bolt up practically any throttle body between 70 and 75 millimeters. Runner length is a 11.5 inches, so these babies should really help the low-end torque. To help keep costs down, PD designed the intake so that it will work with standard GM sensors (including MAP) and also accepts LS 7 and 9 fuel injectors.
We can’t wait to see these start showing up on hot rods.
